Click on the video for a demonstration on taking your own measurements
The key to a comfortable bra, that fits well, starts with the correct measurements. To help you get the proper fit, here is a step-by-step guide to help you. Plus, this excellent video demonstration above will show you how to take your own measurements, all in the comfort or your own home.
Step 1 - Measure your band size
To measure yourself, first make sure you are wearing a bra that is comfortable and fits well.
Take a tape measure and measure yourself (in inches) directly under the arms and over the top of your bust. Make sure the tape sure is parallel to floor. You can get someone to help you with this.
Once you have this Measurement. Round it up to the nearest whole number. This will be your band size. Then, to convert US inches to Australian Bra Sizes, refer to the Band Size Conversion chart below.
Step 2 - Measure your Cup Size
To find you best size, measure around your bust at the fullest point of the breast. To find your cup size, you then need to subtract your band size (above) from your Bust Size. The difference between the two sizes (in inches) will be your cup size (Refer to the CUP SIZE chart below)
Here’s how it works
- Take your Band Size in inches and refer to Band Size conversion chart to convert to Australian sizes i.e. 46 inches = Size 24
- Take your bust size. i.e. 54 inches
- Subtract your Band Size from your Bust Size. e.g. 54 inches less 46 inches = 8 inches
- Refer to the Cup Size Chart to get your cup size e.g. 8 inches = DD cup
Your Bra Size will be size 24DD
